ABOUT JENNA

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Jenna Katherine loves and has loved music all of her life. One of her first concerts at the age of 4 was Carrie Underwood. Underwood has been her idol ever since. She has always written but never realized her talent until her song called “Friend Zone”. Friend Zone was the first complete song she wrote. Since then she has stuck with her writing, singing and guitar playing. She started out playing piano and after 3 years felt she didn’t quite have the passion for it like she does with the guitar. Jenna Katherine has performed with quite a few Texas music artists like Bri Bagwell, Kenna Danielle and Heather Rayleen. She has participated in Kyle Hutton’s “Real Life, Real Music” Camp the last three years and has worked with mentors such as Kyle Hutton, Bri Bagwell, Marcus Eldridge, Josh Grider, Shellee Coley and Morgan Wilson. She also has a handful of solo performances.

Balancing school and writing/singing/guitar can get hectic sometimes, but she still finds time to do what she loves as often as possible. Jenna is part of her high school advanced treble choir. She was also part of her middle school advanced choir and picked to be in her Region Choir May 2018. Jenna Katherine has started working on her first EP that will release soon. She doesn’t go anywhere without bringing something to write in just in case she finds inspiration for a new song. Jenna not only loves music but also loves baking and art. Jenna also has family that has been in the music/theatre business for years and has the love of music from them. Jenna mainly loves to write and sing country music but is always open to change and trying something new.
